Jules is the sweetest of all the nankings. And interestingly enough, it seems to be just as cold hardy if not more so than the red nanking. Some of these were left out in pots all winter long without any protection of the roots. Only the native trees and trees we breed specifically to resist the negative effects of their roots freezing can withstand this. White Nanking meanwhile seemed to come back stronger, with no noticeable root tissue frost damage. Hardy to zone 2, plant with Ian or red nanking for pollination.

For 2025, these Jules come in several different sizes, both of which have really nice root systems with lots of fine root hairs.
