A hybrid of red and black raspberry, Brandywine is tart but balanced with the proper sweetness in flavor. When left on the canes for longer, Brandywine is intensely sweet with faint floral aromas that are elusive if harvested prematurely. Unsurpassed for jam, jelly, and pies. Does very well in cold climates. We have been growing this variety in Montana sinze 2017. 1Hardy to zone 3.

This is the biggest size we’ve grown yet. Not cell packs/tissue culture grown (which tend to be very small) but from tip layers of large mother plants that are cut and then grown on their own root. Nice root systems generally.
