One of our favorites, Clapp’s Favorite is a large, yellow fruit with a crimson blush (from the side exposed to the sun). Clapp’s is a juicy and sweet pear that is great for fresh eating, baking, and canning. We have customers all over that inquire about this one as its flavor is excellent (apparently it has been talked about extensively by some channels on Youtube who are growing it). Hardy to zone 3 and for pollination it must be paired with Flemish Beauty, Bosc, Bartlett, Hardy, Karl’s, Comice, D’anjou, or Seckel. Hardy to zone 3.

These trees were potted from 5-6 ft. tall bareroot in 2022, grew another foot or so (6-7 ft. currently, and will be unpotted for shipping or pickup in Spring 2024. Grafted onto semi-dwarf OHxF87 rootstock.
