This Montana native tree is one of our favorites. From its uniquely cone-like white flowers in the Spring (that also attracts tons of pollinators) to its berries that are important for wildlife and in our kitchens, Chokecherry is a must for any cold-climate fruit growers. Our favorite use for the berries is chokecherry syrup as the berries are stringent on their own. Hardy to zone 2 (possibly even -50’s F).

These trees are currently 3-4 ft. tall.
