The oldest living organism in the world is 80,000 years old, and clones itself. Known as Pando, and nicknamed the Trembling Giant, this organism is a single grove of Quaking Aspen trees in Utah. These are super hardy and tend to sucker so be careful where you plant them. Beautiful fall foliage, they do like it wetter and won’t tolerate dry soils in their early years. Hardy to zone 1.
