An exceptionally cold-hardy, disease-variety introduced by the University of Minnesota. Produces clusters of medium to large, blue-black grapes with tender skins. This versatile grape is useful for fresh eating, juice, jams, jellies and wine-making. Bluebell resembles Concord in size and color but matures earlier and is more cold hardy than Concord. Plant this instead of Concord in really cold areas as Bluebell is hardy to -50F.
