Loaded with antioxidants and vitamin C, these red currants possess mouth watering, tangy/sweet red berries in the summer. One of the first fruits in the garden, they can be used for culinary purposes or as a topping on your favorite dessert. Mature red currant shrubs in our climate get about 5-6 ft. tall maximum. These Red Lake currants are well rooted out and going on their 3rd year. They are roughly 6-12” tall.
